Document Control is the process that creates, manages, encodes, names, distributes, tracks, records, archives, stores, and retrieves the output produced. For this reason, BCube has considered it essential to implement and apply its own Document Control system to both its executive design and construction drawings and related to Construction Management activities in a way that facilitates the flow of documentation.Alongside the internal activity, the Document Control is put at the service of General Contractors who wish to manage in a standardized and structured way all the necessary documents during the construction phase, i.e., submissions of material sheets, method statements, quality and safety plans and any other document produced in order to monitor through appropriate records the timely issuance and approval by the Client, creating an alert in case of delays.
Careful and accurate Document Control is essential to minimize errors and minimize rework, ensuring that all participants in the process have proper access to up-to-date information and its history.
