Construction of the new hospitality structure for Fondazione Fiera di Milano, located on Viale Scarampo (MI).
The building features a rectangular base with a height of 7 meters, on which a rectangular tower rises, tapering at the seventh level and again at the top between the 19th and 22nd floors.
The terraces in the upper section, created within the tapered areas, form a green tribune overlooking the city.
The vertical fins on the façade generate a grid that defines the rhythm between solid and transparent surfaces, incorporating operable elements.
The overall design seeks a balance between transparency, lightness, and materiality, allowing the structure to integrate harmoniously into Milan’s evolving skyline.
The hotel tower is conceived as an iconic element, a landmark that is easily recognizable and visible.
Its regular and slender floor plan results from an optimized internal layout of the rooms, while its distinctive feature at the top is the tapering of the floors, creating a tribune with views over the city.
From the second to the fourteenth floor, the standard hotel rooms are distributed. Specifically, between the second and sixth floors, there are 17 rooms per floor.
At the seventh level, there are a total of 10 rooms and a service area with restrooms and changing rooms serving the outdoor terrace space.
